Spaceballs: The Animated Series

Spaceballs-the-tv-series

As talk of Spaceballs 2 is back on the agenda for Mel Brooks, I recently heard about Spaceballs: The Animated Series. I’m a huge fan of Spaceballs and Mel Brook’s films in general so the fact i had never heard of this is shocking. I was excited to dive in but was HUGELY disappointed.

The first episode which i only made half way through is one long “joke” about tits and bras and huge knockers. It’s unfunny, pointless and just plain repetitive. No wonder it was cancelled after 1 season (13 Episodes). If this is any indication of what Spaceballs 2: The Search For More Money will be then I’ll be giving it a miss.

New Nokia 3310 Concept

Nokia 3310 concept

Concept of what a revamped 3310 might look like with Android OS

Nokia are back and they are pulling no punches. The once kings of the mobile phone market had fallen to the wayside from the likes of Apple (a home computer/mp3 player company) and Samsung (a TV manufacturer, Samsung was established in 1938 by selling noodles, dried fish and other groceries. It only entered the electronics industry in the 80s).

Where did it all go wrong?

It begins with them defiantly not taking up the android OS and at first using their own software but finally choosing to go with Microsofts Windows Phone OS. Microsoft then went on to buy Nokia’s phone division including the Lumia range.

But now Nokia have embraced Android and have modified the OS for their new roll out of phones. The brand new Nokia 3 and Nokia 5 is gonna attempt to be the Samsung slayer, with it’s high specs and sleek looks but they also have a trick under their sleeves. Tapping into nostalgia and the fact it’s an internet meme for indestructability they are bringing back the Nokia 3310.

The above android concept is very exciting, it looks great has the right amount of nostalgic looks but is unlikely with the proposed retail of €59.

What it will probably actually look like. Updated software, colour screen.

It’s probably gonna be a budget entry dumb phone with an updated screen. But none of that really matters unless it has Snake.

I’ll be holding out for the Nokia 5 myself.

Donald paying people to come to his rally. Sad.
